The Man, the myth, the LEGEND!

Coach Roxy Magilacuty is neither a coach nor a website professional. He holds no higher degrees in physical education, training, or nutrition. Nor does he have any training or learned skills relating to computers, though he accidentally paid his water bill online once.

Roxy’s formal education ended after an infamous spelling bee incident left him jaded towards school. After wandering the streets and living off the generosity of strangers, Roxy found his signature red zip-up in a dumpster behind a pizza joint. The zip-up convinced him that his calling was to train … something.

He began his career as a trainer with the briefly famous Carl’s Traveling Animal Van. Citing creative differences, Roxy left the Van soon after to pursue the exciting field of World Wide Web technologies. After watching just one brief prime-time special, Roxy was ready to whip websites into shape.

Roxy has been training websites since the late 1970’s, which means his skill and expertise pre-dates most sites, if not all. He is the original inventor, or at least probably had the ideas first, for such web staples as e-mail, discussion boards, and that sound your computer makes when you have mail. He also coined the phrase Web 2.0 during a game of darts in Tucson in 1984.

Roxy recently moved from his hometown in Nevada. He left no forwarding address.
